- 2lb sweet cherries, pitted and halved
- 2lb peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced 1/4in thick
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 2 cups red wine
- 1 cup sugar
- Combine 1-4. Bring 5-6 to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over fruit and let cool to room temperature. Discard spices and serve.
