Frangipane

Makes 2 cups

  1. 228g slivered almonds
  2. 66g sugar
  3. 2tb cornstarch
  4. 4tb cold butter, sliced
  5. 2 eggs
  • Toast almonds at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.
  • Process almonds with 2-3 for about 5 minutes or until texture resembles gritty peanut butter. Add butter and process. Add eggs and process until smooth, about 2 minutes. Lasts 3 days.
