Brown sugar pound cake with creme fraiche whipped cream

Serves 8

  1. 1 cup butter
  2. 220g brown sugar
  3. 1/4tsp salt
  4. 4 eggs
  5. 1/2tb vanilla extract
  6. 220g flour
  7. 1/2tsp baking powder
  8. 2/3 cup cream
  9. 1/3 cup creme fraiche
  • Cream 1-2. Beat in eggs and 1tsp vanilla. Fold in 6-7 and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
  • Whip 8-9 with remaining vanilla.
