Stuffing

Serves 8

  1. 24oz baguette, cut into 1/2in pieces
  2. 4 eggs
  3. 3-3/4 cups broth
  4. 8tb butter or oil
  5. 2 onions
  6. 3 stalks celery
  7. 1/2tb salt
  8. 1-1/2tb fresh sage
  9. 1-1/2tb fresh thyme
  10. 3 cloves garlic
  11. 1tsp pepper
  • Bake bread at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Mix with 2-3 and set aside. Stir occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, heat 2tb butter or oil in a 12in skillet and cook 5-7 for 10 minutes. Add 8-11 for 1 minute. Stir in bread and 3tb butter or oil, pack and cook without stirring for 7-10 minutes.
  • Drizzle remaining butter or oil over stuffing and bake for 20 minutes. Serve.
