Beer horseradish mustard dip

Makes 1 cup

  1. 1 cup lager
  2. 2/3 cup red wine vinegar
  3. 1/3 cup brown mustard seeds
  4. 2tb mustard powder
  5. 4tb horseradish
  6. 1tb honey
  7. 1/4tsp caraway seeds
  8. 2tsp cornstarch
  9. 1tb water
  • Mix 1/2 cup lager with 2-4 and rest at room temperature for 3 hours.
  • Add remaining lager and 5-7. Heat over a double boiler for 15 minutes. Mix together 8-9, mix in and cook on direct heat for 2 minutes. Serve. Lasts 1 week.
