Blackened steak au poive

Serves 1-2

  1. 1/2tb paprika
  2. 1/2tb onion powder
  3. 1/2tsp garlic powder
  4. 1tsp freshly crushed pepper
  5. 1/4tsp oregano
  6. 1/4tsp thyme
  7. 12oz strip steak, 1in thick.
  8. 4tb sherry
  9. 4tb stock
  10. 4tb cream
  • Combine 1-6 and season steak. Sear and set aside. Add 8-9 and reduce until halved, add cream and serve.
