Fennel-beer steamed mussels

Serves 2

  1. 1 bulb fennel
  2. 2 shallots
  3. 2 cloves garlic
  4. 2lb mussels
  5. 1 bottle light-bodied lager
  6. 3tb butter
  7. 2tb taragon
  • Cook 1-2 for 2 minutes. Cook garlic for 1 minute. Add 4-5 and steam about 3-5 minutes. Finish with 6-7.
