Sesame rice

Serves 4

  1. 1-1/4 cups or 240g thai sticky rice, soaked for 1-24 hours
  2. 1-2/3 cups water
  3. 1/2tsp salt
  4. 1tb sesame seeds
  5. 1/2tsp sesame oil
  6. 1tsp soy sauce
  • Simmer 2-4 covered for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, toast sesame seeds for 3-4 minutes and set aside. Mix in seeds and sesame oil and rest covered for 5 minutes. Drizzle with soy sauce.
