Asian broiled flank with scallions

Serves 4

  1. 1/3 cup soy sauce
  2. 3tb honey
  3. 1.5tb ginger
  4. 1tb garlic
  5. 1.5lb flank steak
  6. 2 bunches scallions
  • Mix together 1-4 and set aside 4tb. Brush half the remaining mixture on steak. Toss scallions with oil, salt and pepper and broil with steak 8in from heating element for 5 minutes.
  • Flip steak and brush with remaining mixture, toss scallions and return to broiler for 3 minutes. Scallions may finish early. Rest steak for 5 minutes, slice and drizzle with 4tb reserved sauce.
