Microwave caramel sauce

Makes 1 cup

  1. 1 cup sugar
  2. 2tb corn syrup
  3. 2tb water
  4. 1/8tsp lemon juice
  5. 8tb warm cream
  6. 1tb butter
  • Microwave 1-4 in a 2-cup measuring cup for 5-8 minutes. Rest for 5 minutes until mixture reaches a honey-brown color.
  • Whisk in cream 2tb at a time. Whisk in butter.
