Thai steak salad

Serves 4

  1. 12oz flank steak
  2. 1 scallion
  3. Zest and juice of 3 limes
  4. 2.5tb fresh ginger
  5. 2 cloves garlic
  6. 1 red bell pepper
  7. 2 carrots
  8. 1 head napa cabbage
  9. 4tb cilantro
  10. 4tb mint
  11. 1 cup bean sprouts
  12. 2tb sesame oil
  13. 2tb water
  14. 2tb rice vinegar
  15. 1tsp red pepper flakes
  • Marinate steak, scallion, 1 of the limes, 1tb ginger and 1 garlic clove for 1 hour. Sear steak, rest and slice. Toss with 6-11.
  • Mix remaining lime, ginger and garlic with 12-15. Toss with salad.
