Asian Slaw

SERVES 15

  • 16oz shredded red cabbage
  • 16oz shredded green cabbage
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 1 bunch diced scallions
  • Half a red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2tb ginger
  • 2tb brown sugar
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 2tsp sesame seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • 20 grinds of pepper
  1. Mix and serve within 1 hour.

Scallion Gruyere Potato Pancakes

  1. 1 russet potato
  2. Few pinches salt/pepper
  3. 2tb scallions
  4. 2tb gruyere
  5. 1tb olive oil
  • Coarsely grate potato and let stand in bowl with salt/pepper for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil. Mix cheese/ and scallions in potatoes, divide into 4 batches and squeeze water out.
  • Cook 4 pancakes 7 minutes on the first side, and then until brown.
